Grizzly Eve domestic goddess? I know, I’m a weirdo. Let me explain. I loved Grizzly Adams as a kid. I always imagined that I would absolutely love to live the life that he did in the mountains. Now mind you, I love technology. I hate bugs and not being clean. A mountain woman I may not be, but I feel like deep down, I will always have a love for being in the country, in the woods. Hunting, fishing, hiking, exploring is the place I feel most like myself. However, I believe that all of that is very different from a female point of view. Hence the birth of my term Grizzly Eve.
Domestic goddess, well honestly to call myself that is my own personal hilarious inside joke. Truth is, just between us, I’m mediocre at best. I can cook and bake like a champ, but I also am adventurous enough in that realm to have some major, epic fails. I’m terrible at housework. I love having a clean house, but hate cleaning. Unless I’m in the mood, then I love cleaning. (Are you starting to glimpse “the crazy”?)
I’ve wanted to start a blog for a long time as a means of therapy for me, because honestly, like the title of this post says, I don’t fit in, I fit out. (Credit: Oh from the movie Home)
I love hunting, guns, cars, fishing, and outdoors.
I also love cooking, baking, makeup, hair, nails, gardening, motherhood, being a wife to my wonderful husband, and teaching my children’s church class.
Basically in a lot of ways I feel writing about these things will give me a way to feel like these parts of me can be cohesive and not so segmented.
So, I am Grizzly Eve Domestic Goddess.
(Sorry, I can’t even type it without laughing and I hope you will, too.)
Awesome, hilarious blog! I love it! Keep it up!

That was very cute, you are a good writer. Me? No so much, but you are a lot like your grandma in many ways. I love the outdoors, I liked hunting, mowing the grass, making outside look nice, but I also like to cook and bake, now when I feel like it, lol š , I donāt like house cleaning but do like things in place now. But when the kids were young, I allowed them to live and be kids, keep writing sweetie,
